DWQA Questions › Category: KINARM Standard Tests › How do I insert a high quality KST report image into a PowerPoint chart?

Users of KINARM Standard Tests will sometimes be disappointed by the quality of the PDF image as it appears in their presentation if the PDf is simply inserted as an object or an Adobe snap-shot is inserted. Instead, we offer the current workaround to a high-resolution image in your presentation:
- Open the PDF in adobe
- Increase Zoom to 600% - 800%
- Select the entire image:Ctrl + A
- Copy the image: Ctrl + C
- Paste into MS Paint: Ctrl + V
- Save as PNG image
- Insert the PNG image into target chart
If you find the handpaths are pixelated, I've found that resizing the Paint image to 25% - 50% solved this issue.
We're looking at other alternatives to allow the user to derive presentation quality images from the Report in Dexterit-E Explorer. If you have a suggestion, send it our way!

A fewer key strokes, almost as good quality method:
– open file in Adobe Pro
– zoom to 600%
– select “take a snapshot”
– select all (ctrl+A)
– copy (ctrl+C)
– paste in Powerpoint
Update! Now in Dexterit-E Explorer, you can right click on the exam in the exam tree and use the "Export Images" function.
