How do I cite the use of a KINARM robot or KINARM Standard Tests (KST) in my manuscript?
What about the details of KST parameters? Rather than describing each parameter in detail in my manuscript, is there a way to reference the descriptions/definitions that my readers/reviewers can access them?

KINARM Labs should be referenced as:
- “KINARM End-Point Lab (BKIN Technologies Ltd., Kingston, ON, Canada)”
- “KINARM Exoskeleton Lab (BKIN Technologies Ltd., Kingston, ON, Canada)”
KINARM Standard Tests (KST) should be referenced as:
- “KINARM Standard Tests (Collection version XXX, analysis version YYY, BKIN Technologies Ltd., Kingston, ON, Canada)”
- where the Collection version XXX can be found either on the header of a Standard Report as the "Capture" version, or in an exported CSV (in a column titled “Collection version”).
- and where the analysis version YYY can be found either on the header of a Standard Report, or in an exported CSV (in a column titled “Analysis version”).
Note: it is important to include the KST analysis version because of differences in the normative models and normative databases used to generate Z-scores and Task Scores for different versions of Dexterit-E.
Links to KST parameter definitions/descriptions for different versions of Dexterit-E can found here:
For example, for Dexterit-E 3.6 the link would be:
